‘Wicked’ defied gravity with its mega release, catapulting the Broadway phenomenon finally to mass audiences around the globe in spectacular big-screen fashion. We spearheaded the UK social campaign and ignited the magical buzz by creating social-first snappy edits that showcased all the incredible OOH marketing stunts such as Emerald City Christmas Tree at St Pancras, the Greenwitch Takeover, and Jeff Goldblum’s piano performance. Our calendar strategy ensured we were utilising a range of creative content, partnerships, interviews, voxpops reactions and relatable clips to fill up feeds throughout November-December to push awareness and group ticket purchasing, as well as jumping on trends and viral cast moments. The campaign generated millions of interactions and overwhelmingly positive sentiment, and the blockbuster success of the musical truly speaks for itself.
